"Hello, and thanks for dropping by. I have loved writing for as long as I can remember. From my first story dreamt up in infant school more than 30 years ago to the launch five years ago of my freelance writing business, being a writer has been my lifelong passion, privilege and joy."
Emma began her career working in press and public relations departments in Surrey, London and Paris. In 2011, she established Emma Ward's Words as a freelance writing and editing business. Services include high quality magazine articles and reviews, newsletter and book editing services, proofreading support, written content for websites, blogs and social media, as well as compelling copy for brochures, catalogues and marketing materials. Emma also handles other specialist writing projects on a case-by-case basis.
2015 was the best year yet for Emma Ward's Words. The shipping magazine of which Emma is founding and current editor won a prestigious maritime industry award. Emma also wrote and edited her first book - all about suspension bridge engineering.
